USAID officially launched the USAID funded Pakistan Reading Project at a large ceremony held at the Islamabad Model Secondary School in Chak Shahzad on February 13, 2014. U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan, Richard Olson, and U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women's Issues, Catherine Russell, State Minister for Education, Trainings and Standards in Higher Education, Muhammad Baligh Ur Rehman, and over 150 donors, faculty and students, and stakeholders attended the colorful ceremony.
